GINGERBREAD SAUCE
- ¼ Cup Butter
- ½ Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 3 Tbsp Water
- 2 Tbsp Molasses
- ½ tsp Vanilla Bean Extract
- ¼ tsp Ground Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Ground Ginger
- ¼ tsp Allspice
- ⅛ tsp Cloves
- ⅛ tsp Nutmeg
METHODOLOGY
- In a small saucepan, genly heat together butter, light brown sugar, water, vanilla and molasses until butter is melted
- Add all spices and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring, until sugar has dissolved into sauce
- Refrigerate until cool
FILLING & ASSEMBLY
- 1 EDWARDS® Signatures Original Whipped Cheesecake
- Gingerbread Sauce
- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
METHODOLOGY
- Transfer gingerbread sauce into a pastry bag or squeeze bottle
- Whip cream to soft peaks
- Remove the filling out of the EDWARDS®Signatures Original Whipped Cheesecake and gently fold the cream cheese filling into the whipped cream
- Transfer filling into a pastry bag
- Crumble up the crust that is remaining and set aside
- Begin layering with your crumbled crust, followed by your cheesecake filling and your gingerbread sauce
- Repeat this layering pattern one more time finishing with more crumble and gingerbread sauce on top!
