GINGERBREAD PARFAIT

GINGERBREAD SAUCE

  • ¼ Cup Butter
  • ½ Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Water
  • 2 Tbsp Molasses 
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Bean Extract
  • ¼ tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ground Ginger
  • ¼ tsp Allspice
  • ⅛ tsp Cloves
  • ⅛ tsp Nutmeg

METHODOLOGY

  1. In a small saucepan, genly heat together butter, light brown sugar, water, vanilla and molasses until butter is melted
  2. Add all spices and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring, until sugar has dissolved into sauce
  3. Refrigerate until cool

FILLING & ASSEMBLY

METHODOLOGY

  1. Transfer gingerbread sauce into a pastry bag or squeeze bottle
  2. Whip cream to soft peaks
  3. Remove the filling out of the EDWARDS®Signatures Original Whipped Cheesecake and gently fold the cream cheese filling into the whipped cream
  4. Transfer filling into a pastry bag
  5. Crumble up the crust that is remaining and set aside
  6. Begin layering with your crumbled crust, followed by your cheesecake filling and your gingerbread sauce
  7. Repeat this layering pattern one more time finishing with more crumble and gingerbread sauce on top!
